Chris Boon was the Foreman on our large residential renovation project in Mosman from September 2006 to September 2007.

Chris was an excellent co-ordinator of tradesmen and suppliers. He regularly managed large teams of workers, up to 20 at a time on-site, working at multiple tasks and employing different trades. He was a reliable, hard worker and produced a top quality product at Windrim Building.

Chris was also a pleasure to work with, being responsive and sensitive to client needs. He was professional and efficient whilst maintaining a sense of humour where appropriate. To this day he remains in contact with us and quickly addresses any building issues that arise for us at our beautiful family home.

PROFESSIONAL REFERENCE FOR MR. CHRIS BOON; RESIDENTIAL BUILDING WORK.

While an employee of Windrim Building Contractors, Mr. Chris Boon worked in the role of Site Foreman/ Supervisor and Construction Manager on two large residential building projects with Tanner Architects;

2005 – 2006 Alterations and additions to a house in Woollahra, Sydney to the value of $2.1 million

2006 – 2007 Alterations and additions to a house in Mosman, Sydney to the value of $2.2 million

Both of the above projects were highly-detailed, Architect-designed residences which required a wide range of trades to be co-ordinated throughout all stages of the building work, from demolition to completion. These projects involved integration of complex hydraulic, electrical and mechanical service systems with more advanced aspects of these including stormwater detention and rainwater reuse, ‘smart home’ and audio visual integration. In his role, Chris Boon was also required to liaise with consulting engineers covering the disciplines of hydraulic, structural and geotechnical as well as the relevant local authorities and utilities, the owners and clients of the residences and architectural staff and directors of Tanner Architects.

Throughout these projects he displayed a high level of professionalism and skill in all aspects of the work and we would therefore be confident in his ability to co-ordinate projects above the value of each of these.

Chris Boon appeared thoroughly reliable and honest in our dealings with him and we commend his character to you. We would not hesitate to consider him for future building work on our residential projects.
